Hi Friends,

I am a message flow which involves nodes like this :
SOAPINPUTNODE -> SOAPEXTRACT_subflow ->XML_Manipulation -> SOAPREPLY

Input Message : SOAP
Input URL : http://localhost:7800/webservice1

The WSDL involved is WSDL1 and style is 'document'

Running on local machine , windows 7!!
--------------------
When I test it on my local machine using "Test message Flow", runs smoothly !!

Not Running on server, windows server 2012 !!
-------------------------
When I transfer the code on server, I get an error message and exception trace as below

Error
--------------------------
Error sending request to http "http://localhost:7800/CIPWebService"

java.lang.NullPointerException
at java.lang.String.<init>(Unknown Source)
at com.ibm.etools.mft.unittest.core.transport.http.HttpClient.makeSOAPRequest(Unknown Source)

Already checked
--------------------------------
Already checked that port 7800 is open and even when I start the broker , and check using netstat.. it shows that 0.0.0.0:7800 is listening.

Any Ideas why this problem or what else I should check in order to rectify?

The port may be open, but the server's firewall may be blocking. By default, Linux firewall is closed on this port.

What OS is your server ?

What version of WMB are you using ?

localhost always refers to the local machine, not to some external machine.

Use the real machine name, not 'localhost'.

Or use the IP address if you can't figure out the machine name or somehow don't have DNS.

Sorry for not closing the thread earlier. Just closing the thread now.

Thanks everybody, the mistake I was making was assuming URL is not case sensitive. URL is case sensitive and once I fixed it, worked fine.
