I created a MI qmgr and MI broker.
From th eMQ explorer I see that I can connect to both instances of the qmgr from the GUI.
However, from the toolkit, I can connect to the broker, but I do noti see a method to connect to both the active and standby instances, I only see a way to connect to a single instance.
I definitely see more need to attach to both qmgr instances from the MQ explorer than the toolkit, but I need to know: Is this by design (only a connection to a single instance of the broker from the toolkit), or am I missing something ? |

A limitation with Message Broker Explorer
There is currently a limitation when using WebSphere Message Broker Explorer to examine the standby instance of an MI broker. Although you can list and view all instances of an MI queue manager on WebSphere MQ Explorer, and switch the Explorer connection to the standby queue manager in case of a failover, you can't list or view the standby instance of an MI broker on the WebSphere Message Broker Explorer in a failover situation.
