Hi,

Small announcement .I have been working with Integration Bus Toolkit V9(sry just for your information am mentioning it again)

There is a BUG in this version. (I think it is a bug)

Where you cannot test the flow

Java was started but returned exit code=8096

I have tried in different environments..
I have tried all the necessary measures to remove that
1)cleaning temp folders
2)editing eclipse.ini(which i saw in other forums)

Iam not asking questions this time..Iam just helping you

If u think this one dont help you.thats okay my bad[/img]

Does IBM think it's a bug? What's their initial response to your PMR?

And we thank you. Please keep us posted on the progress of your PMR.

If you could just include a fraction more information about your environemnt (Windows version, JRE in use, what flows it affects, etc) that may increase the utility of this thread.

If you think you have a product defect, you should be working a PMR.

I'm glad you're trying to share this information, but it's not clear what you mean.

I'm able to use the Test client and "test" a message flow just fine from IIB v9 Toolkit.

Maybe you are doing something slightly different.

Given what typically causes an 8096 from the JVM, I'd be less sure myself. Of course, Java, who can say? Not me for sure. Also not sure (given the probable cause) editing eclipse.ini is something I'd have tried, or only as a last resort.

Which again is not all that surprising if you've got the common problem.

But as I and my most worthy associate point out, a PMR is the route to go if you're tripping over a perceived bug in the product. IIBv9 is very new so there could well be some kinks to work out.

Depends on what you mean by "a simple web service flow".

I created a new Service application, and it tested just fine.

Just now i created a message definition file through which i generated a WSDL file..Through wsdl file i generated a flow(by drag and drop on to flow editor)..and tested the flow (includes Soap input-subflow-soap reply)

Dont deploy the samples from toolkit and test it...Create it manually and try that.

Sorry if am wrong anywhere

I too have no issues with the samples or creating an ad-hoc Web Service. Most of the samples have not changed since V6.1 so I would be very surprised if any of those did not work for you.

A common mistake made by new WMB developers is not to follow the step-by-step instructions that come with the sample. Usually, there are some very intricate settings that need to be applied in order for the sample to work properly. For example, when setting up SOAP that uses HTTPS, a keystore and truststore are required.
