Hi,
I am trying to upload the wsdl files and schema files in datapower while creating the webservice proxy. I saw one dropdown named as Using wsdl and listing the ftp://,http://,https:// and local:///.
I have selected the http:// in the dropdown and placed the wsdl url in the below text box then clicked the next. i am getting an error message showing as the ERROR:unable to reterive the http://xxx.xxx.xx.xx:7443/service/addserive?wsdl.
any one help me to upload the wsdl files in datapower. is there always the wsdl files and xsd placed in local:/// and always use the local:/// ref in proxy creation. |

Have you attended the DataPower training ? Seems importing the WSDL is a common and basic task. You don't seem to be well versed in DataPower technology. Perhaps you can hire a consultant to configure the device for you.

Select Add to create a new Web Service proxy.
Give the Web Service Proxy the name DataPowerSampleService and click on the Create Web Service Proxy button. |

Hi ,
i did the same its working fine only if i have .wsdl and the .xsd in locall:///. but the same .wsdl and .xsd when i am trying to refer from http:/// or https:///. its not taking.
The reason , why i am looking this http/https. In my webservice the xsd files are separated and its placed in different sub-folders and its referenced in one master .xsd and the master .xsd referenced in .wsdl. So i am facing to create the same structure in locale:/// and also i have too many service so its hard to create so many sub-folders and the changing the references in all the .wsdl and .xsd also too complex.
In datapower is it allowable to refer the .wsdl file from some other place using urls or do we need to created or upload the same in local:/// and need to refer in WSP?
