Please help. I am getting this error when a sender channel from mainframe is started. For instance....
CSQX203E +MQP1 CSQXRCTL Error in communications configuration,
channel MQP1/PFDCLM1_XL,
connection FDHP62,
TRPTYPE=TCP RC=00000079
CSQ9023E +MQP1 CSQXCRPS ' START CHANNEL' ABNORMAL COMPLETION

Hi,
CSQX203E +MQP1 CSQXRCTL ... TRPTYPE=TCP RC=00000079 means:
The parameter is incorrect (found in MQSeries for OS/390 V2R1 Messages and Codes)
By the way all channels ?? (have you customized the CSQ6CHIP correctly ?? ) Are there any other problems displayed in MQP1CHIN log ??
So show us the initial startup log of MQP1CHIN, so we can see the parameters used.
