We have installed MQV7.5.0.2 on Solaris, all components, my question is, is it possible to uninstall just the FTE components, (ftagent, ftbase, ftlogger, ftservice, fttools) on Solaris.
pkgparam mqm CLASSES shows;
none runtime Cs_CZ De_DE Es_ES Fr_FR Hu_HU It_IT Ja_JP Ko_KR Pl_PL Pt_BR Ru_RU Zh_CN Zh_TW base ftagent ftbase ftlogger ftservice fttools gskit java jre man mqams samples server sol_client
If possible do I simply do pkgrm ftagent ftbase etc etc and in which order ? Or since under Solaris since there is only one package mqm for the whole product, divided into classes I cannot uninstall individual components.
I know under Linux we were able to uninstall individual components after a full install, using rpm -ev MQSeriesFTTools etc.
The IBM infocenter documentation does not specify if individual MQ components in Solaris can be uninstalled.
