I would like to correct a few things with respect to this procedure:

if you follow it precisely, message ends up in SDLQ on QM1, DLH reports reason MQRC_UNKNOWN_REMOTE_Q_MGR Q3. If you create qmgr alias definition given in step 3 on QM1, instead of on QM3 as instructed, DLH reports MQRC_UNKNOWN_OBJECT_NAME Q2. If you add CLUSTER(DEMO) to Q2 definition in step 1, then it works as expected. Am I right? |

jcv, the way you describe it is the way I would do it. The way that page in the Infocenter explains it seems odd to me.

| Peter, when you say odd, did you mean like strange literary style, or more like impossible to work that way? I ask it because the document is not changed, only relocated. Maybe I was wrong to report it in the first place? |
