Hi
Version 7.0.0.4
I tried to create the new message set from the message set which is already in the workspace.
Hence I used the option called "Copy message set content from another message set" in the messageset wizard.
After selecting a appropriate existing messageset i have clicked finish.
I am ended up with below error.
Reason : An error occured while creating testmessageset.
Unable to write to the local file system: testmessageset
Any idea for this error ? |

What does that suggest then? _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

"Refresh the workspace" is the suggestion given in that error window.
I like to give some more information here.
I have copy pasted the old messageset(Which i need to use as reference for my new messageset) in my workspace folder and imported using "Existing project into workspace" option from my toolkit.
The old message(Imported Messageset) set folder is in partially read only mode in the workspace folder.
From this message set, I tried to create a new message set using a wizard. Then it route me to the error window which has below detail.
Code: |
BIP0118E Error creating message set resource.
Reason :
An error occured while creating newmessageset.
Unable to write to the local file system:newmessageset
Refresh the workspace. |
Thanks in advance.

Issue is resolved by removing the read only properties of *.mset in the old messageSet project. |

It is amazing what people can do when they READ the error message and think about it, rather than just copying and pasting in the forum !!!
Big medal on its way ! |
