Hi,
I am facing the issues to integrate the clearcase in WMB 8.0.0.1 version. i have followed the same instructions mentioned in the info center.
I can able to view the clearcase menu in the menubar. But i cant able to open the perspective for team as per the instruction mentioned in the info center.
I am not clear what Clear Case Client need to install in my local pc?
Clearcase server installed and i have the host/port and the folder details. But i am not sure where i need to pass this details in WMB 8.0.0.1.
Can any one help me ? |

I have updated the WMBT8.0.0.2 version. But still i am not getting where to update my clearcase connection details in wmbt. I dont have any clear case client installed in my local pc.
Can any one help me? |

Thanks for your all time support.
I followed the instruction which mentioned in the link. But i am getting below error,
Cannot complete the install because of a conflicting dependency.

Ask your manager to help you. Are there other resources that have the client installed? Ask them how they did it.

What other Rational products do you have installed?

Hi,
Thanks for your support.
We are trying to get some info from this fourm not like we are always depending only this forum to fix all our issues.We also send the mail to IBM.
We have installed the WMBT 8001 and update with 8002. The CCRC plugin which installed along with the WMBT is 7.5.
Do we have any option to uninstall this plugin from WMBT than we can able to install our CCRC 7.1 plugin. The CCRC 7.1 plugin is working fine with eclipse blue.
if i am facing issues always soon i will be an expert with all your support. |

Do not try to use any version of Eclipse which is not the Eclipse supplied with the WMBT. This will cause problems.

I think what he is saying is, he has some Java projects which he uses Eclipse blue. On this version of Eclipse application, he has installed a good CC Eclipse client.
He wants to do the same with WMBT.

Yes, Eclipse.org site has procedure for uninstalling componetry.

Thanks for support.
The problem is fixed now. I did the below steps,
I uninstall the toolkit completely all the versions.
I install the new toolkit same version 8.0.0.1, immediately i install the CCRC plugin version 7.1 in the WMB from Help->Install New Software. I have added the plugin details name and the url and its successfully installed without any CCRC version conflict.
I am working with message flows in WMBT and i am trying to checking the code to Clearcase. if i mentions any where about the java project or eclipse, sorry for miscommunications.

Hi,
If any one face the plugin conflict issue for Clearcase for WMBT. Please do the below things,
This is my local installation folder str for WMBT.
C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\SDPShared\features
Search the *clear then you can see the installed plugin details.Select the plugin and do shift+delete. Now you install the your version of the clearcase in WMBT.
