Hi,
When I am trying to stop my broker,I am getting the following issue.
C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\MQSI\8.0.0.1>mqsistop MB8BROKER
BIP8016E: Unable to stop component.
A request to stop this component was refused.
Investigate the reason for this failure and reissue the command. The problem ma
y be that the component was in the process of being stopped or started, in this
case just reissue the command. It may be that the command could not be issued b
ecause of insufficient userid permissions. If you are unable to resolve the prob
lem, contact your IBM support center.

Please do not DOUBLE post your question.
It is also the weekend for most of us so please be patient for a reply.
Is the user you are issuing the command from allowed to do this operation?
Is your broker instance running actually 8.0.0.1 and not 8.0.0.2 or 8.0.0.1?
Can the user where you are running this command from run other broker commands? _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.
