Experts,

I have been trying to invoke SOAP over JMS using SOAPAsyncRequest/SOAPAsyncResponse node pairs which always throws an exception as "The SOAPJMS_contentType property was not present in the inbound message". The SOAP service is deployed into WAS8 container. There's no issue in service provider side as it returns the value without any error. I could understand that a property being expected by SOAP server in WMB is missing. But don't know where that property should be set and how. To resolve this issue, a post in the link http://www.mqseries.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=60642&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15 recommends to apply a fix APAR PM44498. But that fix pack is for WMB7. I'm using WMB 8.0.0.1.

If that fix pack already resolved the issue in WMB7 itself, then why the same issue appears in WMB8?

Does it mean still the fix pack should be installed for WMB8 also?

Please provide your valuable suggestions and advises to resolve the issue.[/url]

Why not check the release notes for 8.0.0.2 and see if that (or a similar) problem has been fixed in that release.

If not then raise a PMR.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

This error means your content was not SOAP over JMS. Your message is missing a required element in its payload. No fix pack needed. Examine your payload carefully.

You can also try to use SOAP over JMS using SOAPUI and Hermes. This should then show you the exact setup of the JMS message needed in MQ.
You may notice that you need an RFH2 for the message to be interpreted as SOAP over JMS...
