1. Don't worry about this until you get the stand-alone working first.
2. Hire a consultant to do it for you, the complexity exceeds your knowledge at the moment.
3. Get training to acquire the knowledge. _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks

Thank you.
I have to use in my WAL-MART project in future.
In that project my team have to work on Global Cache so I need to get pre- requisite for global cache..
Can We change format of input message in Java Compute Node.
Like if input is xml ,I need to change it to MRM.
How can I set MQMD properties like MessageSet ,and MessageType ,and Directly set message format?
Can I set these properties like compute node ..
Is it work in JCN? |

mahesh2069, the WMB Information Center (IC) describes the policy.xml file you will need to create and have all brokers that share the cache load. The same IC describes how to configure the ports so all brokers communicate.
Your second post does not seem related to Global Cache but a general "how do I use WMB". You need to read the IC (at least quickly) to understand what parts of the IC pertain to what you want to accomplish. It is all in the IC. Even better, in the WMB Toolkit there is a "Welcome" section with many samples. Everything you have asked about has a sample.
Read, Read, Read. |

Your WMB license entitles you to support. The support requires that you have been formally trained by IBM on the product. Have you attended the required training? _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks

You mean like the one at the top of this page that says Info Center and then open the one for WebSphere Message Broker V8.0. Then search on "policy.xml"?
Is that what you are asking me?

The text in blue is the link. And is the same as what you see at the top of this page that says Info Center, except it is in white because the bar it is on is dark blue. |

Here is the link to the page on policy files. I suggest you get used to navigating the info center with issues like this.
There are also sample policy files in your WMB install, take a look at your <install>/sample/globalcache directory. This is also mentioned in the infocenter.
The schema is kept in the <install>/cachesupport/schema directory, which will help you see the structure that your policy file should satisfy. (Also mentioned in the infocenter!) |
