| I'm upgrading from MQ 6.0 to 7.5. The 6.0 environment perform Log Clearing and uses Perl to delete log that are not needed form the Log directory. What is the process for cleaning old logs with 7.5. This is on a Windows 2008 server. Does Perl still work? If so is there an upgrade? If not, what are my options? |

No action required if default paths are configured in your qmgr.
Analyze your script and modify according to your new QMGR if user defined paths configured in your QMGR.

MS0L is a Java support pack for linear log cleanup. It lets you define the different paths (data, logs, etc). I use it to archive logs from multi instance qmgrs... works with MQ V 7.0, 7.1,7.5 (and out of support 6.0)
