We have a situation where the proper procedure for deleting brokers was not followed with the result that after we have rebuilt the brokers we are unable to deploy because the CM says that the queue manager is already associated with a broker...our fault !!
Can anyone offer advice re resolving this or point me to earlier threads on the subject in the forum....I'm sure there are some. I'm expecting to have to delete some table rows so if anyone knows which ones to remove I would be very grateful!!

You have to delete the brokers again, following the proper procedure. Then you can recreate them (again), and will be able to register and deploy.

I'm sure it's possible to correct this by editing the ConfigMgr database, but I wouldn't recommend it when other procedures are available.

We can't delete the brokers following the proper procedure because they are gone, but are still in the CM database under their unique UUIDs. We cannot recreate them with these UUIDs in order to delete them properly.
