Hi,

I am new to MQSeries. I have installed WSAD5.0 which comes with extended MQ. Can any one help me how to setup channels. I am not able to see MQ Explorer in WSAD..Thanks in Advance

Does WSAD come with Extended MQ or embedded MQ?

In either case, you can use runmqsc to define channels I think.

Actually, you can't use the MQSeries that comes with WSAD to talk to MQSeries on any other machine.

It's only licensed for applications to talk to each other on the same machine.

If you need WAS 5 applications to talk to apps on a different server, you need to also license a full version of MQSeries, and install that before you install WAS (I believe).
