Hi there, me again
I've got a problem when I try to deploy full flow between Windows NT to Broker on AIX...
My database for broker and config manager is the same... But I found a very strange problem :
Two different errors appeared :
Sometimes it shows that Log files are too small... I increased em...
After this, I tried to deploy complete with force... and the result is : MQ error "2218 0x000008aa MQRC_MSG_TOO_BIG_FOR_CHANNEL"
Really strange... I wonder if it isn't a problem of MQSI and not of MQSeries... ?
Any clue ?

I've heard that the message being deployed for complex brokers can get pretty big. THe underlying MQSeries Queues and Channels both have maximum message length attributes (MAXMSGL). Perhaps you need to increase these attributes. Default is usually 4Mb... Maybe bang this up to 100Mb?
Good Luck

When you've got a problem with big message of MQSI and when you've got a problem with MQSeries Log ( TOO SMALL ), well ... put all SYSTEM.BRK queue in DEFPSIST( NO ) . It runs really better like that when you deploy in full mode

What CSD level are you on....we had the same problem and it was fixed by installing CSD04. |

We have MQSERIES in version 5.2 on the config manager and a 5.3 on the BRK.
I'm sure that we don't have the CSD04 for MQS5.2 . Well, I'll check it on monday and try to fix this problem otherwise than modify some MQS fonctionnality.
Thx,
