Use the java client to drop an MQ Message on the Dead Letter queue that contains the text "Dear MQ Admin, please provide me the following information".
And then wait for the phone call with the person yelling at you on the other end. |

The information you wish to collect cannot be collected by a remote admin, only by a locally attached one. Or to say it another way, there is no PCF or MQSC interface into this information.
Cheers

So, yes, that's not available remotely, but you would need to read the qm.ini file for the queue manager, or read the regisrty if it's Windows.
qm.ini contains such entries as: -
Log:
LogPrimaryFiles=4
LogSecondaryFiles=2
LogFilePages=4096
LogType=CIRCULAR
LogBufferPages=0
LogPath=/var/mqm/log/QMNAME/
LogWriteIntegrity=TripleWrite
And on *x that's usually under /var/mqm/qmgrs/<qmName>
Hope that helps, though I'm not sure, since the question wasn't very specific. _________________ Distributed Systems Professional Services
