I am new to the MQ. I have the requirement where I will be getting a XML COBOL copybook via COMMAREA from a online CICS program. My new MQ-CICS program should validate, process the COBOL Copoybook and then put the XML messages into the Queue and sent to the third party system . The Third party system will send the response back in the Queue(XML Message) to my new MQ program. Based the response my new MQ program should sent it to the online CICS program via COMMAREA as a COBOL copybook from where I recvd my COBOL copybook.
Can you please provide pointer how to design this program. I will keep on getting the messages. Also, how to parse XML data. Also, do I need to divide the program processing into two programs? Actually, I want to know how to go about it. |

As a mainframe programmer you should know how to do all these tasks. You have excellent examples of MQ programming in the COBOL samples...
