I am trying to do an http call to an external company. The soap request node get "Connection reset by peer".

http in >> soap request >> http out

What happens when you try to hit the service from a Web-service client utility (something like soupUtil)?

"Connection reset by peer" ideally means the request you sent is either badly formed or invalid and the server has closed the connection. Check for the request message you are sending by using some utility. User Trace would help a bit more.
