Hi, I installed WMB v8.0.0.1 on z/Linux SLES10, migrated my broker from 6.1.0.11 and everything checked out, worked fine. IBM released 8.0.0.2 so I applied that, now I can't issue any conmands at all, nothing works. Example when I run mqsistart:
line 62: 19892 Floating point exceptionMQS_APPL_HANDLE_SIGNALS=1 MQS_NO_SYNC_SIGNAL_HANDLING=1 "mqsistart.bin" "$@"
I can't run trace commands, nothing. I installed in a different dir so I can easily source 8.0.0.1, and that still works fine. opened a PMR and am working it, but just wondering if this rings any bells? I did migrate back to v6.1, uninstalled both 8.0.0.2 and 8.0.0.1, re-downloaded code for both to be sure I had good code, re-installed 8.0.0.1 and 8.0.0.2 and then tried the migrations, but I get Floating Point errors on that command. Same as before, when I source 8.0.0.1 it works fine.

Can anyone out there confirm they are using WMB 8.0.0.2 on z/Linux? If it works just fine on this server for WMB 8.0.0.1, but switching to 8.0.0.2 throws these floating point errors for any mqsi* command that is attempted, it seems like something wrong with the 8.0.0.2 WMB code for this platform?

Turns out it was a bug in the Fix Pack specific to this platform. IBM provided a hot fix to be applied on top of the 8.0.0.2 Fix Pack for WMB on z/Linux and then things finally started to work.
