how do we validate the channels to check if they would be running normally, once the ssl refresh is done in Mainframes. MQ V7? |

As you would on any other platform - try examining the commands you can run against channels and see what jumps out at you... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Whether z/OS or midrange, if the channel starts - enters RUNNING state, then the channel is 50% validated. The other 50% would be to transmit a message across the channel. If the message arrives at the other end of the channel, I would consider it validated. _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

Transmit a persistent message. This validates the sequence numbers as well. |
