Hi,
Other than putting "strmqm <QMname>" and "strmqcsv <QMname>" in a system startup script/file, is there a configuration setting or parameter that I can set to make a QM start automatically whenever the machine it is on gets rebooted?
Some of our QM's are already set up this way, and I looked in mqs.ini and also in the qm.ini of these QM's, but didn't see anything that looked like it started it automatically. Also, I've searched this site for this info but didn't find it.
Thanks for any help. --Ryan |

Oh, by the way, the platforms I'm using are SunOS, HP-UX, AIX, and Windows. |

On Windows:
Make the in the services make MQSerices service as an automatic one.
In the WebSphere MQ Services: Queue Manager properties select startup type as automatic.
If you do both of those, I think the queue manager will start automatically on reboot.
On Unix:
I think you have put your script in /etc/inittab or /etc/rc2.d
There are some rules on how you name that script and some other things but I am not sure exactly how they do it.
Hope it helps.

On HP, the scripts may be in /sbin/init.d and may have a link to /sbin/rc3.d |
