Are you:
1. Running a Broker on that queue manager, doing pub/sub?
2. Running the queue manager under local user or domain user control?
Presumably this has only happened when you've 'switched on' something that uses the queue manager, or some functionality within the queue manager? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Hi Exerk,
There is no broker running in that Application
No, the queue manager is running under mqm
Have analyzed and found there are some system objects not created in that queue manager.
SYSTEM.BROKER.ADMIN.STREAM
SYSTEM.BROKER.CONTROL.QUEUE
SYSTEM.BROKER.DEFAULT.STREAM
SYSTEM.BROKER.INTER.BROKER.COMMUNICATIONS
Whether this could be the issue? |

OK...

That doesn't answer my earlier question, it just muddies the waters...

Assuming that those objects were not present before the migration, what has changed in regards to the queue manager setup after the migration? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

In Queue Manager properties,
PSMODE is ENABLED so i think it is looking for the
SYSTEM.BROKER.ADMIN.STREAM
SYSTEM.BROKER.CONTROL.QUEUE
SYSTEM.BROKER.DEFAULT.STREAM
SYSTEM.BROKER.INTER.BROKER.COMMUNICATIONS
Objects.
In Test, these queues are present and PSMODE is ENABLED as well.
But in production, these queues are not present and PSMODE is ENABLED.
Checked the backup file of old production queue manager, these queues are not there as well. |

One More question
While altering the queue manager PSMODE to DISABLED.
Whether restart of queue manager is required? |

If PSMODE(ENABLED) those queues will be required. If you remove those queues you should at minimum run with PSMODE(COMPAT) if you are not using Queued Pub/Sub or Hierarchies. If you are not using Pub/Sub at all, then you can got to PSMODE(DISABLED). You do not need a queue manager recycle to change PSMODE.
Cheers
