Hello
When Integration Bus 9 do get releases, will the base package contain (IB 9.0.0.0) all the fixes that were part of WMB 8.0.0.2?
Cheers

The Announcement said that we should see the software in June 2013. As for particular fixes the only way you can be certain is to raise a PMR and ask IBM directly. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

Thanks smdavies.
Will raise this query to IBM and see what's their in the store for the original query.
The whole idea is that we have a customer trying to migrate the Broker from V6.1.0.11 to V8.0.0.2. and migration planning is going on! |

Do you really want to migrate from WMB 6.1 direct to the first release of IB 9?
Seems like a big jump to me. |

I'm just trying to understand every option that we have and understand the road map of product going forward and see if we can take some leaps towards cutting down the cost by moving to latest, rather than one version below. But what all I can say is that, we dont want to jump the gun and say lets adopt, we will wait and see approach till the time we have every niche detail of IB 9.0 and how our infrastructure holds the coin |

Personally I would be reluctant to plan a migration to the initial release of any product unless you really need to be on the leading edge for some reason. |

Totally Agreed with your opinion. One thing for sure is that, we are not ready to opearte on Base IB 9.0 untill we know the odd fix pack release dates. Also need to see and decide whether its V8 / V9 after due consideration in all aspects. |
