Hello,
We had an existing setup, Wherein our publishing application pushes message to a Queue with User Identifier details. Recently we had a requirement to get a copy of every message coming to that Queue in a different Queue.
So we used MQ PUB/SUB feature to get the copy of the message,but in the subscription Queue we are not getting the user identifier details send by the producer applications. Please guide me, how do i get Application identity data from the message send by the producer application in the subscription queue, coz it was over written by the subscription property which is NULL
Below approached has been followed for getting message copy.
Applications - Alias Queue- Topic- Durable subscriptions- Queues
Referred the doc, but no luck. |

Make sure the subscription has PSPROP(NONE).
You may still find some MQMD fields are not as per the original message - this is a problem I have also had when we use pub/sub to duplicate messages.
Some option to control this would be welcome (from IBM) in future releases, but I don't think there is a solution now. |
