I have just finished upgrading the toolkit v8 to FP02, restarted using the -clean option, get this error:
REA119
com.ibm.etools.msg.dfdlmodel.utilities.protocol.XSDSymbolsAdapter incompatible with com.ibm.dfdl.model.xsdmodel.XSDModelListener
any ideas ?.. advice ? |

Have you any non-standard plugins? If so, uninstall them. You might like to uninstall the whole toolkit then reinstall. Or, open a PMR.

| ok, will check with my colleagues if they are having the same problem, but pmr it will be. uninstalling and reinstalling is not an option, as it means checking things into the repository or exporting the projects , then reinstalling toolkit, then SVN, setting up etc. in a development environment that would not have been a problem and done it many times (at Hursley), but now I am in the real world ! |

You could use File -> Export -> Project Interchange.
I used it daily to back up my in-flight source code changes.

so, I uninstalled the toolkit, reinstalled, then installed FP02 on top of it. Still no joy.
Created a new workspace, imported the xsd, everything ok, so I guess the plugins in the workspace metadata are out of date. Shouldn't the toolkit refresh the metadata , especially when starting with -clean ? |
