Hi. I have a cluster (Windows, Linux and HP-UX) with 2 full repository at HP-UX boxes, MQ V6. Now I have to install WMQ 7.5
at 2 Linux servers, and move both full repository from HP-UX V6 to Linux V7.5. After this, HP-UX servers will leave cluster.
Do you see any problem with this change? May I follow Infocenter instructions to move each Full repository from HP-UX MQ6
to Linux X86 MQ7.5?
Thanks in advance. Regards from Brazil......Fernando |

Just follow the instructions in the Info Centre and all should be well.
Alternatively, you could consider building the new FRs as 'new' cluster, drop out the PRs from the 'old' cluster, then join them to the 'new' cluster and 're-cluster' the queues; you'll then be left with just the two 'old' FR queue managers, which can be deleted if they have no further use, or demoted to non-clustered queue managers if they are to be stand-alone. _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
