The client is sending message using the Svrconn channel but he is getting " connection broken".
I have checked the HBINT is low on the svrconn channel.
Will this this HBINT attribute make any difference???
Could any one suggest

I suggest you search the forums for the multitude of posts and information relating to WMQ Clients and SVRCONN channels... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

..and the multitude of posts on "connection broken", which has a number of possible causes not all connected to WMQ but grounded in the network itself. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

Look in both client and server error directories for errors logged by WMQ, _________________ I like deadlines. I like to wave as they pass by.

But they may result in the app finding out that the connection is broken sooner than if there were no heartbeats.
Connection broken usually means that the TCP/IP socket session died unexpectedly and the normal MQ protocol packets were unable to flow. The socket can break due to a network failure, TCP stack failure or the process dying at one end without closing the socket. _________________ Glenn |
