I am trying to use mh04 support pake in windows server 2003.
I have done setting of the MQ_COMMAND_TOOLS variable.
I am facing the following exception

Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/ibm/xmq/utilities/Xmqqstat

Kindly do the needful.

Thanks in advance.

So, have you done all the required configuration for your version of WMQ (which you have omitted to tell us) apart from just setting the variable?

What value did you give to the variable?

Did you search google for the error you encountered? Did you find any hits?

I'm not sure about what you are asking is 'needful'? Did you open a PMR? Have you followed the step-by-step instructions to prepare the system?

So you have definitely uncommented the correct line in the batch file, as well as setting the correct path for MQ_COMMAND_TOOLS?

I think 'needful' is Inglish. I have yet to see anyone from other than India use this term. It means go and do what ever is needed, without specifying what it is. The term is obsolete in English speaking countries in the west.

Following problem analyzed in my environment.

1)In my environment java version was not compatible with the mh04 support pack , so i have done the latest java installation, then set the java path.
2)Then I have done the correct MQ_COMMAND_TOOLS path.
then it's working.

Thanks team for given your view on the issue.

Looking at the sentence you just posted, the meaning is discernable, but the construction is not valid English. We are used to that, so I'm not going to sweat on it. We are here to help. I was just having a little poke at "do the needful".
