Has any thought been given to using waterslides to demonstrate message flow through channels?
At last, a conference convieniently located.

I'd love to see how they'd do roll-back... _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

something to think about... |
I'm having a serious think about this one - pity my KLM Air-miles have expired - so if anyone knows somewhere cheap to stay for 5 nights in the area? _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |

Hi,
I have asked many, many IBM conference people over the last 5 years to bring back the MQ & CICS Technical Conference but it has fallen on deaf ears.
So I decided to put my money where my big mouth is. This is a scary and expensive venture. "If you build it, they will come". For me, it is "If you hold the event, will anyone come".
T.Rob Wyatt of IBM is going to do some sessions and I'll do as many as I can. Plus Derek Hornby will do a couple of "user experience" sessions. And I've talk my son Tyler, whose an iPhone developer, to do some MQTT sessions.
I am waiting for several other people to confirm that they can do some sessions. Speaking of which, if anyone is interested in speaking at the conference, please see: http://www.mqtechconference.com/call_for_speakers.html
Regards,
Roger Lacroix

It's only 60 miles from Cleveland on the bank of Lake Something, so accomodation is plentiful. Even if you don't fancy the conference rate with waterslides included. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I never allow Vitor out into the real world; he's restricted to cyber-space. I will attend as my mild mannered alter-ego.

It looks like Detroit is the closest 'international' airport and then a 2 hrs drive from Detroit, MI to Sandusky, OH ? _________________ Michael

If you can get a flight (either directly or from an international hub airport of your choice) to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE) that's about an hour away. Or yes, Detroit is about 2 hours. _________________ Honesty is the best policy.

I resent that - I did not snort, I sniggered...loudly! _________________ It's puzzling, I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before...and it's hard to soar like an eagle when you're surrounded by turkeys. |
