Hi,
I've checked the online documentation about the limitations of starter edition mode for Message Broker 6.1. It says:

You can create one execution group, and you can deploy a maximum of 10 message flows to that execution group; subflows are not counted in this total. |
Do they mean one execution group per broker? or one execution group process running within a system i.e. one DataFlowEngine process ?
I know it is an old version and we are looking for upgrading it at the moment and trying to assess all the cost options.

You will also notice a statement someplace that says you cannot deploy those flows to a production environment. It's for developer use only.

Nah, you can use Starter in production just fine. It's the new developer edition that can't be used for production: http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/downloads/ws/wmbd/
The restriction is one execution group per broker, and the 10 flow limit was removed in V8 ISTR. If you don't know which edition is appropriate for your environment, chat with your IBM account team. |
