Hi,
I have queue manager installed on windows 2007, I have logged with administrative account IBM_ADMIN and IBM_ADMIN is not part of mqm
group. I have run following command
1)C:\Users\IBM_ADMIN>setmqaut -m qm1 -t qmgr -p IBM_ADMIN -connect
but when i run command dspmqaut , it shows that IBM_ADMIN still have the authority to connect to queue manager.
C:\Users\IBM_ADMIN>dspmqaut -m qm1 -t qmgr -p IBM_ADMIN
Entity IBM_ADMIN has the following authorizations for object qm1:
inq
set
connect
altusr
crt
dlt
chg
dsp
setid
setall
system
-
Please advice what could be the issue here.

What happens if you use a user that is not an member of Administrators, and not a member of mqm? |

The principal IBM_ADMIN may be a member of a group that does have CONNECT access.
dspmqaut does not display particular profiles, it just resolves what access exists to the named object for the named entity, using whatever profiles are involved. _________________ Glenn |
