Hello All ,

I am working on migrating the existing flows (wmb 6.1.0.4) to wmb 8.

Many flows use messageflows as subflows . In WMB 8 I have to convert these messageflows to subflows .

N number of message flows which I have converted to subflows now in WMB 8 , throw an error stating WTX node cannot be used in subflows.

Can anyone please suggest if WTX node can ever be used in WMB 8 subflows ?

There is hell lot of rework needed to dynamically call the WTX maps if I have to deviate from the existing design .

Please suggest .

Yes, you can call WTX node from message flows & subflows. There are some limitations, including thread safety issues. Check the WTX InfoCentre.

There are numerous issues with .subflow files in V8.0.0.0 and 8.0.0.1. If you search here you can find out all about them.

My advice would be to wait for 8.0.0.2 which:-
1) should fix all/most of these issues
2) be available this month (lets hope so)

I'd probably raise a PMR with IBM to get specific guidance on how you should progress.

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

Thanks ..

I already went through the fix list in 8.0.02 which us scheduled this month end .

Meanwhile I think I should raise a PMR .

Has anyone tried to use WTX node in subflow ?
