I'm getting a very minor error when I try to change the User Trace in the Broker Explorer when the Execution Group contains an Application that is stopped.

Code:
The message broker received a configuration message containing an instruction to change an attribute in the deployed resource '''' (uuid=''2f693a48-3d01-0000-0080-86053797da9d'',type=''.CMF'') but this can not be completed because the deployed resource either does not exist or is predefined

Can someone running Broker v8 check this happens to them?

Points to note:
- Doesn't affect the command line mqsichangetrace
- Doesn't happen with stopped Flows (only stopped Apps)
- Start App and error goes away

Would open a PMR but as it's easy to workaround, the process isn't worth the return in this case.

Thanks,

D.

The fact that it says ".CMF" implies that you are buiding your bar file to compile source at build time, rather than shipping the .msgflow and .subflow files across to the broker for compilation at deploy time.

That may change the behavior of various things.

In other words, this sort of sounds kind of unrelated to user trace.

I tend to prefer using mqsichangetrace, because I really prefer being able to know that I've specified the -r flag at the right time.
