I wonder how guys achieve this , being a mq admin with limited development experience , your valuable guidance is much appreciated.
Problem : In my shop we have various web site each exposing platform information such as (server info , business silo it serves , server cpu metrics , schedule maintenance window , changes scheduled etc) via web interface. As part of messaging team , i am trying to bring some of these information together in batch manner (unix scripts) & in web interface.
We cannot access the backend database directly , so i am looking for ways (tools , language , frameworks , interfaces) that are easy to use for a non-programmer to query this information using web interface (HTTP POST , HTTP GET , some offer webservice interface).
Please share your experience , tools or links that would be helpful to me.
Thanks. |

You can use support pac MO71 to provide this for MQ. This will let you show the status of channels, queues and so on. It's read-only. It looks a little basic but you can customise the HTML if you are so inclined.
As for a general interface to consolidate at the presentation layer - there are various commercial tools to do this. Not sure if anything open-source stands out - but any web development tool should be able to do this depending how much time you have. |
