have you looked at the channel status?
have you looked at the connections? |

A simple question
Why do you need this bit of information? _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions. |

firstly, we don't speak 'txt' here.
So you need to know this for an interview question? Well, may I humbly suggest that this is a pretty poor question. I've been using WMQ since before the turn of the century and have never needed to know this before.
If for some reason I did need to know then I'ld look at the WMQ docs and find out the name of the executable and then for it via a process browser (or commands such as ps -ef)
IF I was asked this type of question in an interview I'd suspect that the person asking the question was:-
1) someone who didn't know the product very well
2) trying to trick me.
How you respond is up to you. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Also, it is incredibly naive of you to a) expect that any real professional will provide you with information on how to cheat on an interview, b) that the people you are interviewing with won't take any steps to see if you post questions on a public forum. |
