Is there a way how to receive JMS message which was sent as segmented message (native MQ segmentation) without need to go throug all messages and inspecting message header of each message.

I have read the article http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/library/techarticles/0602_currie/0602_currie.html which is fine but does not mention segmented messages.

Now I have a problem, that following JMS message selector JMS_IBM_MQMD_MsgFlags=7 does not work (no message is selected).

That 6 years old devworks article talks about message groups, not message segments.

Make sure you understand the difference between MQ message grouping and MQ message segmentation.

It's also 6 years old.

Refer to the current info center JMS documentation.

I'm not sure on the current state of JMS myself, but as of v7.0.x, it did not support message segmentation in any meaningful way, it only supported message grouping.

I know that it talks about message groups. I am finding a way to transfer large messages. Sending application uses MQ API with MQMF_SEGMENTATION_ALLOWED. Receiving application uses JMS API. It seems that there is no solution in such case.

I am affraid that current state with JMS is same as it was 6 years ago.
