Hi,
Running Windows WMBT
Version: 8.0.0
Build id: 8.0.0-20111129_1446
When I copy the DecisionServiecNode_1.1.0.1jar from the WebSphere Decision Service Node Support Pack iam9 http://www-01.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg24032010 to the C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WMBT800\plugins, restart WMBT with mb.exe -clean the Decision Service is not present in the palette.
As well I tried to creating a User Defined Node (Extension). Exporting the jar and placing it in C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WMBT800\plugins.
No joy for either node in the palette.
I've scoured the logs to try to see if there are any complaints. -clean appears to be propagating into the javaw args.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks! |

None of the steps you've listed appears to be incorrect.
I'd suggest contacting the supportPac author per the instructions that come with it. |

Any thoughts on why I can not see the UDN extension?
Looking through the docs, the Author: Jochen Benke, ISSW WebSphere Services is posted, but no contact info. |

If I recall correctly, there's some funny stuff with 8.0.0.0 and eclipse plugins designed and built for earlier releases of Toolkit. But I only have half a memory of the actual issue.

Hrm.
If you put in details in the comment section at the bottom of the supportPac page, and make sure to include your own email address, that should get to the author. |

Thanks a bunch for the responses.
Still does not explain why when I build a simple trace UDN extension - with no problems, warnings or exceptions, export it and then copy the jar to $install_dir/plugins, I can't see the UDN.
Again I appreciate your help. |

Because there's something funny with loading plugins in v8.0.0.0.
And I still forget the details. |
