I am using WMB 8.0.0.1

I have an MQInput node that performs a validation

Code:

Validation Tab
Validate: Content and Value
Failure action: Exception

Once my input message hits the InputNode, it goes out the
"Failure" node to an error queue

How can I determine what field the validation routine is upset about ?

err, the Exception List.

Enable user trace. It usually gives a better vies of what is happening.

Whats your Input nodes failure terminal connected to? Do you have a common error handler in place? Exception Tree has all the required details of an error that occurs, which can be parsed in the node connected to failure terminal.

Is this a trick question? The required training class demonstrates the use of the syslog. /var/adm/user.log for AIX. Eventvwr for Windows.
