For some reason, the only qmgr I have is not being recognized as the default qmgr. If I try start the qmgr w/o specifying the qmgr name, it says that the queue manager is not available. Likewise, if I try to put a test message on a queue using the amqsput sample program I get an mqrc 2059.
The mqs.ini file appears to be correct. Any idea what I can look at?
Because you're running on Windows and the ini file is not always the system of record for the mq installation, sometimes it's the windows registry?
Because someone did something like create another qmgr as the default qmgr and then delete it again and this didn't alter the ini file?
Because someone manually managled the mq installation and restored it from backup when you weren't looking and this left the ini file holding information that was not reflected by the running state?
