I could have done it myself but thought to ask whether someone has done it. Can we use cluster name list (clusnl) attribute in cluster sender channel ? if yes, how would it work as the cluster sender channel has to match with cluster receiver channel of the repository. However, if the all cluster are hosted by a single qmgr, and has single cluster receiver channel, I can think it would be possible to use it.
I would appreciate any comment on this.
thanks

I typed
clusnl define channel
into the search box of the MQ 7.5 Information Center and the first link in the search results has the answer.
I think a manually defined CLUSSDR is always regarded by the local queue manager as potentially being a route to a Full Repository queue manager for the cluster names in the CLUSTER attribute or the CLUSNL attribute. |

Best practice suggests to define a specific channel per cluster, especially with the new possibility to use different cluster xmitq by cluster...

Did you search the information center, like I suggested? The answer is right there in the documentation. |
