Hi,

I'm using WMB v8.0.0.1 and Sterling Connect Direct v4.6.0.

I have this flow:

CDInput Node -> MQOutput Node

The CD Input Node is using the default configuration, the only value that I set is File name filter (myfile.txt). The flow is not working. I put a trace node between the two nodes but seems that the flow never starts, it is not giving me any error.

Where is the default input directory where the node is listening for incoming files? I dind'd find the answer in the InfoCenter...

I tried to run the Connect Direct file transfer sample (that uses the default configuration) but facing the same issue. I also tried to use a configurable service to set the brokerPathToInputDir property, but didn't work.

The Sterling Connect:Direct Direct is working fine, the CD Output is working properly.

Any advice on how to find the solution to this issue is very appreciated.

Connect:Direct is a server-to-server network. Files are read by a primary CD node and transferred to a secondary CD node.

The CDInput and CDOutput nodes do not act in a standalone manner. They act as connection points to existing Connect:Direct servers.

So they do not listen for incoming files, nor are they primary servers to transfer files to secondary CD servers.
