7.0.0.3 Version of Toolkit.

I have a remote broker configured and I have all permissions to that Broker.
Sometimes I find that when I connect . It says, Remote Broker not running (when the Broker is running).

Restarting Toolkit fixes this. Any permanent solution ?
Anyone faced this issue before?

Dont connect to remote broker with toolkit. Use Broker explorer to connect to it instead. Build bar files with an automation language (ie. Ant) and deploy automatedly built bars rather than drag flows to the Broker.

To be clear - it may be a good idea to automate builds as you describe and there's more than enough discussion in here on why this is. Most of which you've generated.

But I'm sure you'll agree that the Toolkit posses the capability the OP is trying to use and the question of if he should be using it is not the same as the one asked - why it doesn't work when he does use it, and why it starts working when Toolkit is restarted.

@akidase - under what circumstances does it say the broker is not running? Are you performing any given action? Does it happen after a period of time? It sounds like some network component is deciding your link to the remote broker has been idle too long and is closing it.

@ Vitor - yes, I agree. And "most of which I genererated" -- LOL. I perceive the same issue with my toolkit and as I looked at it, it seems to be an Eclipse issue where a state refresh event is not getting to the right place in Eclipse. Therefore, and more desirable, is a repeatable build and deployment process. Which is why I recommended the correct solution of Broker explorer vs. toolkit. Broker explorer is more correct than toolkit because of the other rich details that it provides. Toolkit is a great design tool but a poor admin tool. Broker explorer yields the best administrative interface when compared to toolkit.
