Hi
I have question related to executing the mqsi commands.
In my project, I got VM(username and pwd) with broker toolkit. From there I can deploy the bar file in broker (Broker in remote system) which is running in the Linux system.
In the same VM, i have login into the remote broker server using putty by the username and pwd (which is used for the VM login).
From my putty session, i could not run the mqsideploy command.
I can understand that my userid does not have enough permission to run the mqsi commands.
OR
My userid is not belong to the broker service ID group.
If that is the case, why I can access my broker components only by the toolkit and not by the putty session ?

Did you source the mqsiprofile script from your putty session?
There are many similar posts here about this little problem. _________________ WMQ User since 1999

Every time you reinvent the wheel the more square it gets (anon). If in doubt think and investigate before you ask silly questions.

Yes, I can understand that mqsiprofile cmd will help to show the version of the broker and it ll create the session for running the mqsideploy cmd.
I tried to run the mqsiprofile cmd. But this shows that there is no shell pgm with mqsiprofile name.

Yes. This might be the little problem. But like to understand more clearly. I have went through the post which is related to the mqsiprofile and ACL.
