Hi friends

Has anyone used the isLoggedOn method of the ExecutionService ?

We have been using this API to check if the users session is valid. But we always get a true value back.

We do get an FmcException - Not Logged On during performance tests but ideally it should have been caught with the isLoggedOn returning false.

Does anyone have more info regarding this API ...

I tried ActiveX API and its working fine.

I just made a simple standalone sample application which logs in using Execusion Service method. Then I did force login on FAT client and then checked the return value of IsLoggedOn method in the application which is already opened in debug mode. Its returing FALSE.

I am using MQWF 3.3.2 Service Pack 4. Whats there on your side?

isLoggedOn is not an action call meaning it doesn'y give you the real logon status from workflow server

then which API will give me the loggedOn status ?

You might want to issue a refresh() against the service prior to issuing the isLoggedOn. Of course, this should not be necessary, but it is possible that the "Automatic Refresh" that was added with V330 (I think) missed this and what we have here is a bug.
