I tried to install message broker version 8 on windows XP. I have installed everything including MQ.
However ,when I clicked the setup32.exe it quits right away with any error information.
I run this command:
C:\IBMWMBV8\WMB_V8.0_WINDOWS_X86\messagebroker_ia_runtime1>setup32.exe -i silent
-DLICENSE_ACCEPTED=TRUE

It is the same.

I have the official version. 2 of my colleague have installed successfully.

Any error log or tips would be grealy appreciated

Do you think it is wise to continue to use MS XP?

I think I meet the requirement.
Since I used to install the trial version and everything worked fine before.
Now, I have uninstalled everything related to the trail version of MQ, toolkit , MQ explorer and broker runtime.
However, as I said, the installation program quits right away without any error information.

If it is wise or not is actually out of my scope since I am using company's laptop.

What happens when you don't try to do a silent install?

What does the installation logfile show?

The problem is solved after the installation image was refreshed.
