For automating Broker/MQ administration tasks viz, Bar deployments, Defining Queues, Channels, Listeners, Creating Exec Groups...et al., which approach would be better?
Granular: 1 script for defining queues, 1 script for deployments, 1 script for deletions, 1 for creating EGs...?
or
Consolidated: 1 script for deployments and MQ object definitions and Creating of EGs and buying groceries...?
I lean towards the granular approach because i wan't to do exactly and specifically what i want to do and also not fill up the error logs intentionally... (I need to make a recommendation and refute one)
Thanks |

If you build granular scripts, you can test them individually.
You can then build another script that calls them in order. |

Use of a continuous integration tool something like Hudson (create separate jobs for each and a separate job to just run all other jobs in order) would be very useful here. |
