Hi,
I am new to MQ, I have setup 2 queue managers...define a Q on one mahcine and for that ! defined remote Q on other machine ..then defined channel..but when try to send message from q1 to q2 ..using command amqput rqname q1.... message goes to transmission queue.. n resides there.....i checked channel hasnt started...it shows in retry state from long time..please let know how to troubleshoot it..do i require to check any logfiles.

BEFORE you started the channel, did you do an MQ PING command from the non-started sender end of the channel? What were the results?
Can you tcp/ip ping from sender to receiver?

Well if there's a problem with the channel, logically the channel's log file is the place to check.
