Hi everyone,
We just had our DEV environment restarted and upon restart the broker was not able to be started. This is a Windows environment and we are running 6.1. The error we are seeing has to do with java.
( SF_BRKR_DEV ) Verification failed. The required Java level ''1.5.0'' was not found. The installed Java level is ''A public JRE for release is not found.
From the command console, typing in 'java -ver' gives the following error:
"A public JRE for release is not found".
Anyone seen an error like this before?
Thanks as always,
Bret. |

Hi Bret,
Did you remember to fill mqsiprofile (for example use WMB Command Console) before you ran mqsi -commands to restart your broker or is it a windows service?
Can you check that
Quote: |
MQSI_JREPATH, PATH, and the appropriate library path environment variables for your operating system. Change these settings to point to the integrated JVM, and ensure that no other Java installation is in the path. |
For example
Code: |
MQSI_JREPATH=C:\Program Files\IBM\MQSI\6.1\jre15 |

Thanks Marko. Actually we fixed it by reinstalling the latest broker fix pack we had. 6.1.0.10 |
