Hi,
We are deploying bar files created in v6.1(v6.1 code and toolkit) into new v8 brokers.
If the bar file deploys fine , is that enough ? Ofcourse flows will be tested.
Are there any issues with this ?
Is it mandatory to Import the PI into new v8 toolkit and recreate the bar file ?
Thanks |

Yup, I had seen that pdf and it talks about importing the PI.
I had also heard that the broker v6.1 bar file could be deployed into new v8 broker. Wanted to know if thats true.
The pdf says that "An error is displayed on all projects which require migration" . Assuming that none of the projects have errors, does it mean the v6.1 bar file is good enough ? Or is a v8 created bar file still needed. |

And when you listened to the webcast, what did you find out? The link points to more than just a PDF.
And the WM664 / WM674 classes offer a wealth of information regarding migration from previous versions including some sample scripts from the labs that can be used to ease your way into V8. _________________ http://leanpub.com/IIB_Tips_and_Tricks
